Thanet Dyslexia Services, established by Jennifer Jennings, offers a range of outstanding services from dyslexia assessment to dyslexia support and help with exam access arrangements. We pride ourselves on providing outstanding service and guidance throughout the assessment process and beyond.
Our assessments provide tailored recommendations, excellent personal communication, quick feedback, and a written diagnostic report that adheres to SASC guidelines. Assessors hold an Assessment Practising Certificate (APC) and up-to-date Associate Membership with the British Dyslexia Association (AMBDA). An APC underpins a dyslexia assessor’s qualifications and competence, enabling them to undertake full diagnostic assessments for Specific Learning Difficulty (SpLD): Dyslexia. These reports can be used to apply for Disability Students' Allowance (DSA) for third-level students.
Developing confidence and independence is at the heart of everything we do. With the school's agreement and depending on location, assessments can take place during the school day at the student’s school in an environment they are familiar and comfortable with.
